Witt & Berg had the distinct privilege of collaborating with the esteemed Diptyque design team on an exquisite commission for their flagship store, Maison Diptyque, located at the heart of London’s iconic New Bond Street.

Spanning a remarkable 400 square meters, this boutique is not merely a retail destination but a cultural sanctuary—a space where the realms of art and sophisticated living effortlessly intertwine. For the "bathing salon," a thoughtfully curated room dedicated to celebrating the brand’s exceptional collection of skincare, bath, and body products, Diptyque specified the Witt & Berg Babington Copper Nickel Bateau (1500mm), chosen for its refined craftsmanship and timeless aesthetic.

Designed as a poetic tribute to both English and French horticulture, the bathing salon radiates an air of understated opulence. A 1930s art deco sofa provides a striking contrast to the travertine basin, which is adorned with fine-gold swan taps, imbuing the space with an air of refined grandeur. The Witt & Berg copper bath, an epitome of craftsmanship, is bathed in the soft glow of stained-glass panels in verdant green hues—each piece masterfully created by Studio Virtrail Bianconi—infusing the room with an enchanting sense of serene beauty.
