Maison Diptyque — New Bond Street, London

Spanning 400 square metres across a New Bond Street townhouse, Maison Diptyque's London flagship was conceived as a meeting point between commerce and culture — a space where the brand's scent, skincare and body collections are encountered as though in a private home.

At the heart of the bathing salon, a room dedicated entirely to Diptyque's bath and body offering, the design team specified the Witt & Berg Babington in Copper Nickel — a 1500mm bateau bath chosen for the warmth and depth of its finish. Stained-glass panels by Studio Vitrail Bianconi cast the room in green light; a travertine basin with gold swan taps and a 1930s art deco sofa complete the scene. The reference is English and French horticulture, rendered with restraint.
